Stefano Benemeglio was born in Rome on 26th September 1945. Psychologist, hypnologist researcher and professor of Dynamic Hypnosis and Analogic Communication, he started his research on human behaviour in the 60’s.
Between '68 and '78 he studied the mechanism of hypnosis focusing on emotional behaviour, he defined the pragmatic and operative model of “Dynamic Hypnosis” and  he codified its own language for Analogic Communication.
Starting from Hypnosis, he subsequently turned to psychological research in order to approach problems linked to communication from a different and revolutionary point of view.
In 1978 he founded CID-CNV, the Centre of Dynamic Hypnosis and non-verbal communication, born as an institute of research and experimentation.
Between ’80-’90 he defined the fundamentals of Analogic Psychology, a discipline that studies the laws that rule the emotional human behavior, explaining, through more and more analytical modes, both the procedures and the philosophical and epistemological aspects of this discipline.
In 1992  CNV-CNV became the Institute of Analogic Psychology and Dynamic Hypnosis from institute of research.
In 2008 A.I.D.A., the International Academy “Stefano Benemeglio” of Analogic Disciplines, was founded in his honour. He is the honorary president of the Academy.

The logical part states what the unconscious denies, and vice-versa.

Verse and reverse, in opposition, generate conflict, Conflict generates upheaval, upheaval generates problems, problems generate symptoms.
Behind each symptom there is man.
For the whole life you will be afraid of everything that you will have judged and criticised in your parent of the same sex fearing to have it in the shape of the same vices and behavioural defects; and you will be afraid of everything that you will have negatively judged and criticised in your parent of the opposite sex fearing it will lead you to emotionally “hook up” to a person with the same vices and behavioural defects.
The extreme and harmful mechanism of defence is the narcissist perfectionism that leads to the self-harm of renunciation and to the hetero injurious behaviour of the destruction of the object of desire, whether it be an idea, a thing or a person.
